As a brown skin girl, I really feel represented seeing Chelsea walk on the Miss Universe stage and bring home the Miss Universe Asia crown! She was so beautiful and confident with her beauty, skin and knowledge. I just can’t help but not to draw her! And this artwork was one of my favorite portraits so far! Also, it’s liked by Chelsea herself when I posted it on my Instagram, I may or may not have screamed.

I posted some new premade covers on the shop and on RaketPH (for Filipino clients)! It's more romance focus this time and I just want to say that I really love these new creations! Especially 'The Night We Met' and 'The Last Dance'. The imagery of these two covers are exactly the type of artwork that I want to continue working on the future. 

I haven't had any sales on any of my book cover, and although it's a bit sad, I want to continue working on these and building up more covers for future authors to use.

If you want a good comedic, romantic and thrilling book, A Love Most Fatal is the book for you. And you would definitely love our girl boss, Vanessa Morelli!

Also, can we talk about THOSE gorgeous covers! the regular and paperback edition covers, even the character arts posted by the author are so gorgeous! 

On top of it all, I love how badass Vanessa is as a mob boss, her love for her family and the people she considers one. Vanessa and Nate also compliment each other so well! So when I finished working on this portrait, I just knew this is how Vanessa looks like in my mind while reading it.

I am really enjoying watercolor style artworks more than I expected, digitally and traditionally. The texture is top notch, also working on one layer for the colors definitely altered my work process, and I'm just all for it!

Q: Do you prefer watercolor style portraits like this or the semirealistic ones?
